Sorry — I guess it is depressing! I didn’t mean to express it it as like, an inescapable reality, or that if a relationship express some of these traits that there isn’t also “real love” there or anything. I guess I was hoping that, by uncovering these dynamics, people could see the role they were playing in their lives and if they were causing any problems, and potentially changes they could make to step out of them?

Maybe I’ll edit it to make it a little less bleak…
